Director of Clinical Operations
Job Summary:
The Director of Clinical Operations role is designed to provide direct support and collaborative partnership to our physician leaders, playing a key role in the success of our clinical operations. The Director will facilitate communication, provide administrative and strategic resources, and actively engage with medical staff to address challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program outcomes and operational efficiency across Teledigm Health and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between administration and providers, ensuring open communication and addressing their operational needs and concerns.
Collaborate closely with providers to develop, implement, and refine clinical protocols, practice guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives.
Facilitate provider meetings to ensure productive discussions and follow up on action items.
Support provider recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and ongoing professional development.
Address provider-related operational challenges, seeking collaborative solutions that benefit both staff and patients.
Oversee all day-to-day clinical operations, including provider scheduling, billing, and medical records.
Develop, implement, and enforce clinic policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (HIPAA, etc.) and best practices.
Participate in annual forecasting related to clinical activities; monitor expenses and revenue to ensure financial viability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field required. Master's degree (MHA, MBA) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting, specifically working closely with physicians and other healthcare providers. This experience should demonstrate a deep understanding of provider needs, operational challenges, and collaborative problem-solving.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence effectively across all levels of the organization.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
